Latrise is a Chicago-born multidisciplinary artist whose work is guided by the principles of self-expression, representation, and community initiatives. Her practice is heavily rooted in art and fashion yet remains ethereal, abstract, and fluid in its visual expression. Latrise’s work guides viewers on a spiritual journey of discovery as they explore the depths of culture and representation as they relate to the environment and our inner selves. She blurs the lines between body and soul, adopting diverse themes that range from inclusion of marginalized groups to harmonious with the collective experience.
