During one of my summer trips to Chennai,
India, I witnessed this mother nursing her child,
while hard at work, making garland in a busy
market street. She had the most calming
demeanor and sat there amongst a sea of
people with such poise. Her face exuding
calmness, while trying to handle fidgety
customers. She and millions of other women
like her are silent unsung heroes to me. Seeing
her that day was a major shift in how I handle
my everyday situations. This hard working
humble mother inspired another mother with
her creativity. An ode to all silent warriors.
