Lindsey Millikan, Roar, 2013 — the centerpiece of FRAMED.

Every room remembers. A doorway, a table, the light through a window — the spaces we inherit hold the shape of everyone who moved through them. FRAMED is an exhibition about the architecture of memory, and what it means to live inside it.

Daisha Board Gallery's new season at Ateliê brings together twenty-six artists and more than fifty new works, where form, gesture, and materiality converge to interrogate belonging, lineage, and the spaces we inherit.

The exhibition opens with a reception on Saturday, August 8th, from 4 to 6 in the evening, and is presented within the dining rooms and gathering spaces of Ateliê — a globally-inspired bistro helmed by Chef Wyl Lima, where the convergence of food, memory, and belonging is not metaphor. It is the room itself.

The works remain on view throughout the season, and every piece is available to view in person and to acquire.

Form, gesture, and materiality converge — interrogating belonging, lineage, and the spaces we inherit.
